The-Fuchsia-File Privacy Policy

At the time of launching The-Fuchsia-File.co.uk (the "site") we have no intention of collecting information on the site that is capable of personally identifying a visitor to the site. We do, however, collect limited tracking information such as IP addresses and referring domains as part of our managing the performance of our advertising. This raw data is not and will not be shared with any other body or individual.

If at a later date we set up a mailing list or electronic newsletter we undertake not to share personal information such as names and email addresses with any other individuals or organisations.

In addition, we are strongly opposed to "spam" email and undertake not to send excessive promotional emails; usually there will be no more than one or two messages per month.

Where visitors leave our own site by clicking on links to other organisations it has to be understood that we have no control over the behaviour of those organisations including how they handle personal data, although we have every reason to believe them to be both reputable and responsible in their business conduct.

When a visitor leaves The-Fuchsia-File site to access BrunleaBooks.com they may buy books from our own shelf stock. In such cases we gather data for the purposes of completing the transaction. This data does not include credit card or other financial data as the monetary part of the transaction is handled by an intermediary, usually PayPal, and we have no access to account details. Such data as we do collect, including postal address plus telephone and email coordinates, we will keep strictly confidential.

The only exception to the privacy commitments above is the unlikely situation of being required to divulge information to duly authorised officers of a law enforcement body or the courts.
