Home composting is increasingly popular and in the UK many local authorities have schemes under which householders can buy compost bins at reduced prices. If you don’t already have one it is certainly worth typing “[Your local authority name] compost bins” into a search engine such as Google. I paid just £8 for a 220-litre bin and a second one (if I’d wanted it) would have been half price.
